Went for a couple nice bike rides. The path to the trail is rough, but manageable. The trail itself is lovely and only going to get better. There are a few offshoots from the main trail I look forward to exploring too, since they seem endless.
So I suppose those explorations (and the ideas had on them) are most of what I've been making.

Spy X Family, Season 3
Apparently I had fallen behind, so I caught up and watched the latest season, fun show that feels increasingly prescient1 these days.
Episode 2 left a huge impact on me, spoilers indented below:
Absolute punch in the gut at the end. The unexpected obliteration of a happy future hit hard. I wasn't looking for a twist, and I was immediately devastated when the turn was taken. If you've been reading about the ongoing senseless genocides and wars, this may hit you hard too. a
Episode 3 went on to be equally if not more heartbreaking. But it kinda took the expected turn and made sense. Cutting the this into two episodes dramatically made the first part better in my opinion, especially watching it with a day in between as I did, the end of part 1 stuck with me.
The consistent call back to episode 2 via the credits at the end of each episode, added to that. It kept the stakes that they're fighting for at top of mind, and the whole arc added a lot of context and motivation to Twilight's character.
The season had an exciting end as well, my main gripe with the show and specifically this season is that Yor could use exploration. There's a lot to her life that is mentioned and implied but we don't see, and I think it could add a lot to the show overall to look into that more deeply.
Mistborn
I continue my slow read, but haven't had much of what felt like good "reading time" available. I've picked it up for a chapter every few nights, and occasionally taken it out on the train. It may sound like I'm not enjoying it, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Every time I set it down I'm looking forward to picking it up even more. If anything the slow burn adds to it.
Clipping.
I think this NPR Tiny Desk Concert deserves a mention.
Been a fan of clipping. for a while (Their album "Splendor & Misery" is truly fantastic and was what first hooked me), but this is a great introduction to their style. If you only have time for one song, check out Dodger from "Dead Channel Sky":
It captures the Walkaway vibe that I find myself increasingly drawn towards.
Considering
Been over thinking an idea that was mentioned in the nouveau community discord. Since then it's distorted and contorted itself into an idea that would replace the need for my Tailscale tunnel to a VPS for Minecraft server sharing, and potentially allow for a whole bunch more.
If it can work how I think, it could benefit a lot of open source self-hosty projects that you may run for yourself but wish to share with few other people. Need to take some action and prototype some things before I can be sure it's even worth talking about though.
Hopefully I'll have more to share in the near future.
Unrelated
Looking forward to the December Adventure week in March. I have an idea for a small multidisciplinary project that's a mess and it'll be chill as heck.
I wrote this bit near the beginning of the month when I finished the season, but recent events near the end of the month have further accentuated the point.
